Buy Michigan Now is proud to once again be partnering with Downtown Northville to host the Fifth Annual Buy Michigan Now Festival. Extra surprises are still being added so for the latest event schedule and a chance to win cool prizes, text BUYMINOW to . The following artists are scheduled to appear live on the Main Stage in Town Square.

 
FRIDAY AUGUST 2nd
 
12:00PM-12:45PM Magician Chris Clark
Chris Clark will be spreading laughter and joy with his puppetry and magic to kick off our Family Fun Day in Town Square.  Chris is a tremendous entertainer who often invites the kids on stage to become part of the act.  Parents may want to bring a camera along.
 
2:30PM-3:15PM Magician Chris Clark
Chris will return with a second show featuring magic, puppets, and lots of laughs.   
 
3:30PM-4:30PM Jason Milan
Jason plays instrumental acoustic guitar that illustrates duality and the inner struggle through patterns of sound.
 
5:00PM-6:30PM Rickysee
The Michigan Beer Garden will open for business as Rick Canzano takes the stage.  Performing as “Rickysee,” he began playing music as a child, learning piano first, then trumpet became his passion, and soon after guitar.  He’s a one-man band with an astonishing range, who commonly plays more than one instrument at a time.
 
7:00PM-9:00PM Social Bones

The Northville Friday Night Concert Series in Town Square will be a party, under the musical guidance of Social Bones.  Their show teems with improvisational jams that weave one song into another, creating a unique live experience every time they play. With a multitude of covers from classic rock to modern rock, to blues, reggae, country, disco, soul, funk, and bluegrass, there is something for everyone.

SATURDAY AUGUST 3rd
 
10:00AM-11:30AM Strings ‘n’ Things
Ease into your Saturday morning with the serene sounds of Strings ‘n’ Things, a Northville stringed instrument club that consists of incredibly talented high school and middle school students who play violin, cello and bass.  The music soars and smiles abound when they start playing.
 
12:00PM-1:30PM Locklear Sisters
This fresh young duo sports a country/pop style.  Summer & Amber Locklear have been singing together most of their lives.  The sisters are members of the Lumbee tribe from the small town of Clark Lake, Michigan, and recently signed to Long Island Records. Summer sings with a silky smooth voice that captures the listener from the first note, while Amber is all about the harmony,  yet can also hammer down the lead vocals with her clear soprano voice.
 
2:00PM-4PM David Gerald Band
The Michigan Beer Garden will reopen and this time the David Gerald Band will get the party started.  This rockin’ blues band performs all across the USA, though they are based in Westland.  Their show includes a wide variety of great blues covers as well as songs from their debut CD.
 
4:30PM-6:30PM Delta Twins
Expect tons of energy and fun from Delta Twins, a Farmington-based blues/Americana/rock band that sounds like Tom Petty meets John Mayer at B.B. King's night club. Nominated in 2012 for a Detroit Music Award as Outstanding Blues Artist, their passionate show will get your feet moving, your heart beating, and your soul leaping! 
 
7:00PM-9:00PM Mainstreet Soul
Back by popular demand for the fourth straight year, this 10-piece horn band consists of some of the finest talent Metro Detroit has to offer.  Founded on the love of horn-driven music, Mainstreet Soul is dedicated to giving electrifying performances on stage.  They provide the perfect backdrop for a fun summer evening, playing songs from artists like Tower of Power, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Stevie Wonder, Chicago, Sly & the Family Stone, as well as hits from Motown, and much more.

SUNDAY AUGUST 5TH
 
11:00AM-12:30PM Rare Standard
Modern-progressive jazz for the modern-progressive world will ease into Town Square on Sunday morning.  Jazz is one of the purest forms of art and no one understands that better than Rare Standard. Becoming a leader in the Nu-Jazz revolution, they look to progress the art of jazz forward while making the old sound new again. 
 
12:00PM-3:00PM Michigan Beer Garden presented by Northville Chamber of Commerce
They say it’s always 12:00 somewhere, and when its 12:00 in Northville, the bar will open.  Enjoy a relaxing Sunday amidst good friends and great music in Town Square.  Discover Michigan beers and wines, and support the growth of our local economy.  Adult beverages will once again be available from 12:00PM - 3:00PM with proceeds benefitting the Northville Chamber of Commerce and the Buy Michigan Now campaign.
 
1:00PM-3:00PM Empty Canvas
This Midland-based band is a sight for both the eyes and ears.  Musician and artist, Mike McMath, completes a painting while singing lead and back-up vocals. The group delivers great covers and fun originals that are sure to have you wanting to sing along, while Mike creates his painting that can be purchased after the show.  He may even invite you up on stage to add a few brushstrokes of your own to the masterpiece.
 
3:15PM-5:00PM Darwin Mamassian with special guest James Humphries
Wind down your weekend with some folk, blues, and light rock courtesy of talented singer/songwriter, Darwin Mamassian, who will be joined on stage by James Humphries on harmonica.  The pair will treat you to some of your favorite tunes as well as some original music.
