Up & Coming Entrepreneur Contest

The Buy Michigan Now campaign is dedicated to helping businesses succeed in Michigan, and creating awareness of products made here. For the second straight year, in conjunction with our festival, one new business-owner has won free marketing exposure worth more than $1,000 via our Up & Coming Entrepreneur Contest.  This year’s Grand Prize Winner is All American Torch.

Can you do this?  Play an active role in building a strong, vibrant, and diverse Michigan economy by speaking positively about the state, learning about our products and services, and making a concerted effort to buy from Michigan businesses. If so then stop by our Information Booth at the intersection of Main and Center Streetsto and add your name our .  You’ll be helping us demonstrate to Michigan businesses that we care what they buy and sell AND you’ll be entered to win prizes from MI-based businesses like Fathead, Biggby Coffee, Tubby’s Grilled Submarines, and more.

Name that Float

UP Pastie Company and Fred’s Ice Cream are teaming up for this friendly and tasty competition.  Fred’s will be selling floats consisting of pop from Michigan Soda Company and ice cream from Hudsonville.  These new amazing brewed sodas come in cherry, orange, and root beer flavors.  They invite you to give a Michigan-themed name to each flavored float.  The winning entries in each category will receive a Michigan-Made Meal consisting of four pasties, four sodas from UP Pastie, and four desserts from Fred’s Ice Cream shop.  Visit the Information Booth to enter.
